"Reconnect" is inspired by the transformative message of Sonya Renee Taylor's groundbreaking book, "The Body Is Not an Apology." At the heart of the canvas, the figure invites us to journey inward, to rediscover the radical origins of our minds and bodies.
As we awaken to the indoctrinated shame ingrained within us, "Reconnect" beckons us to take action and disrupt the systems that perpetuate body shame and oppression.
